A cyclist is recovering at the hospital this morning after colliding with a stationary trolley car in downtown.

According to Officer Gordon Shyy, the accident happened at Market and New Montgomery when the cyclist got his wheel stuck in the track, causing him to collide with the trolley car.

The cyclist was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he's being treated for head and neck pain.

So that explains any backups you experienced along Market Street this morning.
