Waynenard Aitemon Identified as Man Gunned Down on Mission Street

San Francisco medical authorities this morning identified the man who was shot to death over the weekend as 32-year-old Waynenard Aitemon.

On Saturday, police were called shortly to the 2000 block of Mission Street regarding a shooting just after 2:15 a.m. When police arrived, the found Aitemon with gunshot wounds. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he later died.

Police spent the rest of the morning canvassing the area looking for witnesses who could help identify a suspect. If you have any information about this crime, please call the San Francisco Police Department's homicide investigators at 553-1145 or the anonymous
