SFPD Says Infant's Death Is "Suspicious"

San Francisco police are trying to determine exactly what happened to a local infant who died at the hospital early this morning.

According to Officer Gordon Shyy, the mother brought her child to San Francisco General Hospital just before 12:30 a.m. Police said shortly after arriving, the baby died, and the cops were called to the scene.

The Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed that the baby's death is "suspicious." San

Francisco homicide detectives are now handling the case.

According to KTVU, police towed a car from the hospital as evidence in the case, and later cordoned off a home on Monterey Boulevard in the Glen Park neighborhood.

Police had no more information at this time. We'll tell you more when we know more.
