A teenage boy was killed last night as he exited a Muni train in the city's Ingleside Heights neighborhood, police said.

According to KTVU, the boy was reportedly on the M train headed eastbound at about 10 p.m. when it stopped at the corner of Randolph and Bright streets north of I-280. The victim was getting off the train when someone shot him in the back, said Sgt. Danielle Newman.

The Medical Examiner's Office has not yet identified the victim.

Police told KTVU they spent the night combing the neighborhood looking for witnesses, but have no motive or suspect as of Tuesday.

Police are expected to provide more information this morning. Stay tuned.
