If you live on Treasure Island and missed your alarm this morning you can go ahead and blame that on a bird.

The Public Utilities Commission is in the process of restoring has restored power due to an outage this morning caused by a "wayward bird," according to KTVU.

The Bay Bridge lights remain unaffected, and traffic is at it's usual crawling pace. But if you're coming into San Francisco from the East Bay and see a frazzled commuter merging on to the bridge from Treasure Island, give him a little room.
