San Francisco police made a second arrest in the murder case of 20-year-old Cameron Myers, an Auburn resident who was stabbed to death in the Bayview neighborhood earlier this month.

This morning, police announced they had detained 24-year-old Andrew Zamora, a San Francisco resident. He and a 15-year-old kid have been charged with murdering Myers on May 15.

On May 15, police were called to the intersection of Innes and Arelious Walker after neighbors heard a man screaming. When the cops arrived they found Myers, who had been stabbed multiple times in the back.

He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he later died.

Four days later, police traveled to Las Vegas County where they arrested the teen, charging him with murder. He is not being identified because he is a minor.

Then on May 24, Las Vegas police in Nevada arrested Zamora on suspicion of murdering Myers. He is currently awaiting extradition.

This case remains under investigation. Anyone with additional information regarding the incident or the suspects can contact Warnke at the SFPD Homicide anonymously at (415) 575-4444 or text the message.
