San Francisco police are looking for this dude who stole a bike in broad daylight during today's 19th annual Bike to Work Day event.
Being that the cycling event was newsy, ABC7 News was on the scene and actually got footage of the bike thief in action; he reportedly hopped on a bike that was parked at one of the Bike Coalition's energizer stations on Market Street and pedaled off.
Cyclists, who had stopped to cheer on other bikers participating in Bike to Work Day, chased after the crook, who was presumably biking to his next "job."
Ramon Solis, owner of the stolen bike, told the news crew that his cycle was worth $1,300. "He was on my bike and I was on foot and I have imagined myself in this situation so many times, but I couldn't catch up to him," Solis said.
Police arrived moments later and have been on the lookout for the bike thief, whose crime has been documented on camera.
