Oakland police are investigating a shooting death involving one of our own San Francisco residents.

Officer J. Moore told us this morning that police were called to the intersection of Ninth and Clay streets, just a few blocks from the 12th Street BART station, at about 3 a.m. Sunday where they found the victim dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Authorities would not confirm the man's identity just yet, however, CBS is reporting that the victim was indeed a 37-year-old San Francisco resident.

According to police, the victim was driving along Eighth and Washington streets when he reportedly got into a fight with occupants in another vehicle. The suspect vehicle chased after the victim, shooting at him until his car crashed. The suspects then got out of the car and shot at the man a few more times before fleeing the scene.

Moore says no arrests have been made and no suspect description was available.

We'll update this post when we get more information from police. In the meantime, if you have any information about the incident or better yet if you witnessed the shooting, please call the Oakland Police Department at (510) 238-3821.

Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the gunmen.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
