Ah, nothing says the holidays are here better than a raging Noe Valley woman bear -spraying a man who swiped a (Christmas?) package from her doorstep.

A Noe Valley neighborhood blog posted a two-part video showing a man creeping into an apartment complex, and perhaps picking off a package that didn't belong to him. The second video shows a woman (identified in the blog post as Sonya) chasing after the package thief. She claims to have doused him with bear spray, after which she went upstairs and bragged about it on Twitter.

Here's a few of Sonya's Tweets that were later posted on the blog:

But not everyone was as proud of Sonya as she was of herself. Some readers commented that dousing the man with bear spray (which is strong enough to keep a grizzly at bay) was nothing short of acting like a Texan.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
