Bomb Squad Called to UCSF

San Francisco police have informed us of a suspicious package found at UCSF this morning, causing authorities to evacuate a nearby daycare facility.

Officer Gordon Shyy didn't have much information at this time, but tells us that the bomb squad is at the scene near 513 Parnassus.


A UCSF childcare facility has been evacuated, university

spokeswoman Elizabeth Fernandez told the SF Appeal. Traffic is closed to the 600 block of Parnassus, police said.
