Frederick Legaspi Killed in Merced Heights Accident

Authorities have identified the 37-year-old man who was killed last night in a traffic accident as Frederick Legaspi.

Police say the accident happened about 6 p.m., when Legaspi was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Garfield Street. A 21-year-old woman stopped at the stop sign on Byxbee Street and then drove through the intersection where Legaspi collided into her and fell off his bike, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests were made.
