Lorenzo Jimenez Murder: Police Release Sketch of Suspect Wanted in Shooting of Local Bouncer

Police are asking for your help in locating the man responsible for shooting 24-year-old Lorenzo Jimenez who was shot to death earlier this summer.

On June 8, Jimenez, a local bouncer for the Roaring 20s Strip Club in North Beach, had been with several friends at the Double Dutch bar near 16th and

Guerrero streets, when he was confronted by as many as 10 Hispanic men, police said.

After leaving the

bar, the men viciously beat Jimenez in an unprovoked attack before one of them shot him. When police arrived, they found Jimenez lying in the roadway. He died the next day.

Police are now looking for a man that resembles this composite sketch to your right.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-9. He has his hair pulled back in a bun, and was wearing a blue Golden State Warriors jacket.

Police need your help, and are asking for the public's assistance in solving this brutal crime. Investigators believe there are witnesses or persons with information about the suspect depicted in the sketch.
