An 18-year-old man was hauled to jail this weekend after he allegedly got drunk and crashed his car, killing another teen in the city's Bayview neighborhood Friday night.

Sgt. Michael Andraychak tells us that Daniel Lara, 18, and Eduardo Perez, 19, both San Francisco residents, were driving late Friday evening in Lara's gray Honda Civic when Lara allegedly hit another car near the intersection of Griffith Avenue and Thomas Street.

Perez was ejected from the car, and died at the scene.

Police say that Lara, who is

believed to have been drinking, fled the scene on foot, but came back shortly after and was arrested on suspicion of DUI as well as felony hit-and-run.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
