(Update 12:30 p.m.) Milosky did not appear in court this morning. However, her attorney reportedly entered a not guilty plea on her behalf. Her attorney told reporters that Milosky still has a valid driver's license and is awaiting a hearing with the DMV.

Sheila Sammon Milosky, the embattled Paul Revere Elementary School principal, is kicking off her not-so-relaxing summer vacation in court.

Milosky is scheduled to appear in front of a San Francisco Superior Court judge today to answer to misdemeanor charges in connection to a May 12 incident where she allegedly got behind the wheel after having way too much to drink, and sideswiped several cars before fleeing the scene.

The 50-year-old Mill Valley resident was allegedly in her white 2011 Dodge Avenger, which had Colorado plates, when she hit a Hyundai Tucson and a Lincoln Town Car just south of the Golden

Gate Bridge. She drove off, but CHP officers caught up to her, and discovered her blood alcohol content was well above the legal limit of .08, according to police.

Yes, this is the same Milosky who came under fire last year after parents and kids accused her of using corporal punishment and heavy-handed policies at Paul Revere Elementary School in Bernal Heights. Parents complained that she limited

bathroom breaks and kids were wetting their pants.

Those same parents demanded that Milosky -- who was the new principal -- be removed from her post, and went as

far as to circulate a petition.

Milosky denied those charges, but will she deny these?

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
