Police Release Video of Mission District Sexual Assault Suspect

Posted By on Thu, Dec 15, 2011 at 8:15 AM

Mission District residents are alarmed, to say the least, by two recent "very violent" rapes that occurred in the 24th Street corridor. Police have issued multiple warnings about the incidents, the most recent one occurring last week.

Police are asking residents to help find this man, who was caught on surveillance shortly after the rape on Dec. 8.

In both incidents, the suspect was described as a black man in his mid-30s, between 5-foot-9 and 6 feet tall, with a

medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and dark pants.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call the anonymous tip line

at 575-4444, or "Text-a-Tip" from their cell phones to TIP411. Please

include "SFPD" in the beginning of the text message.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
