A report of Dukes of Hazzard-like driving conditions made its way to SF Weekly this morning, with an account of a box of nails spilling onto I-280 near Hickey Boulevard.

Cautious motoring is encouraged.

Officer Shawn Chase of the California Highway Patrol, meanwhile, says reports of nails strewn across the highway in Daly City comes as news to him.

A CHP patrol car will head to the area and investigate further. More when we know more.
