Never mind the fact that this city doesn't even have a Target yet. San Franciscans are being called upon to head to their local store -- apparently Daly City or Colma -- to demonstrate against the chain's $150,000 donation to a political action committee that gave to a gay-hating Republican gubernatorial candidate in Minnesota.

Whether they need to protest against the nonexistent San Francisco Target on Aug. 14 or 15

is in serious question, so we've contacted those behind the Facebook

pages National Day of Protest Against Target (Aug. 14) and Target National Protest

Day (Aug. 15) to find out if maybe there's some mistake?

We'll keep you posted. And, hopefully, tell you where to go.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
