Posted By on Mon, Apr 12, 2010 at 7:30 PM

The above video is the aftermath of a scary situation on Seventh and Folsom at about 5 p.m. when a police officer shot and wounded a woman he says raced her car toward him.

The female driver reportedly hit several cars while driving down Folsom Street. The police officer fired a shot through the windshield when she refused to stop. Her condition is unknown, though police spokeswoman Lieutenant Lyn Tomioka told SF Weekly the driver is expected to pull through; "Her injuries didn't seem life-threatening."

What prompted this incident and the sobriety of the driver have not yet been determined.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
