A Big Win for LGBTQ Rights!

My phone is ringing off the hook with friends celebrating the Supreme Court's 4-3 decision to throw out the ban on gay marriage, making California the second U.S. state to legalize same-sex weddings.

CBS has the news, as does CNN. And SFist tells queers everywhere where to register. Rejoice, Crate and Barrel!

Update: Mayor Gavin Newsom, City Attorney Dennis Herrera, Chief Deputy City Attorney Therese Stewart and NCLR Legal Director Shannon Minter, NCLR Executive Director Kate Kendell and other city officials will address the media at noon today at the City Hall rotunda. --Janine Kahn
