Three Shot In Mission This Morning, One Dead

An article in today's Chronicle reports that three men were shot early this morning on the 3000 block of 16th street in the Mission district. One man, 25-year-old Jimmy Durwin Gongora, was killed and two others were taken to SF General with life threatening injuries. No arrests have been made at this time. Five people have been shot in San Francisco in the last four days. Sfcrime reports that two people were shot Thursday. A man was shot in the Mission Terrace neighborhood at 12:30 a.m. and sustained non-life threatening injuries. Later that night at 9:30 p.m. a man was shot in the Mission district and taken to SF General where he was listed in stable condition.
