Gunman Shoots Three While They Sleep Wednesday in Potrero Hill

We received a report originating from the SFPD that a shooting occurred at 3:07 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon (2/13/08) at a residence on the 400 block of Kansas Street (between -17th St. and Mariposa) (Potrero Hill area). There were three victims. (No information on the victims was provided in the report.) "The victims stated that they were in their rooms sleeping when the suspect, a Latin male (20-22 yrs. of age), enters the rooms and shoots all three victims." The suspect then left the residence and was last seen running on Kansas towards 16th Street. The victims were transported to SF General Hospital and are listed in critical condition. -Andy Wright
