Combine nosy neighbors, newsy gossip, social networking and Google maps, mix thoroughly and you get YourStreet. It's a local news-centric site that maps users, pinpoints news and shows you exactly what the hell caused that explosion you heard last night.

Just plug in your zip code and prepare to hear much more information about your block than you ever wanted to know. So much for internet anonymity. (via SFist)

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
