A public memorial for Jim Rivaldo, the last man to talk to Supervisor Harvey Milk before he was assassinated, will be held tonight at City Hall. No doubt there will be a large contingent of city officials past and present paying their respects to the late political consultant.

Rivaldo, 60, died last month of liver cancer. According to the Bay Area Reporter, Rivaldo had also been suffering from AIDS and hep C.

Rivaldo is best known as having helped launch Harvey Milk's political career, although he logged many other electoral successes in his long career. More recently, Rivaldo helped elect District Attorney Kamala Harris and Supervisor Bevan Dufty.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
