Google Breaks It Down: Seriously, There Is No G-Phone

Finally, after endless speculation, here is definitive proof that there is no Google Phone, straight from the horse's mouth. The clip, introduced by Google President of Technology Sergey Brin, clues us in the the wonder that is the Android mobile phone platform, but since that's so last week, here's the salient point, from Google Engineering Director Steve Horowitz:

"You've probably been hearing a little bit about the G-Phone lately. I'm here to tell you there is actually no G-Phone. Instead I'd like to introduce you to the Android platform."

Doesn't Google understand? We don't care about a software platform. We want new gadgets goddamitt! (via valleywag)
