The goddamn Christmas goods are already showing up in stores, which can only mean one thing: Holiday concert season is coming soon. Live 105 just announced the first night's lineup for its two-part Not So Silent Night concert series on Friday, Dec. 6, with headliner Kings of Leon and a bunch of other (even more worthy) modern rock bands. Check it out:

Kings of Leon

Vampire Weekend

Queens of the Stone Age

AFI

Arctic Monkeys

Capital Cities

[Winner of Live 105's local band contest]

And that's just the first night. The lineup for Saturday, Dec. 7, will be announced next week.

Tickets for the first part of Not So Silent Night go on sale this Friday (Nov. 1) at 10 a.m. You can get them here.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
