The new poster boy for the Scion car company is someone you've probably seen at a local show. Travis Hayes Busse helps book bands at S.F. club Thee Parkside as well as at the Noise Pop and Treasure Island music festivals, and he's the subject of both a new 30-second TV commercial for Scion and a three-minute mini-documentary about his life in the local music scene. The ad shows Busse doing his thing in various clubs around the city, while the documentary goes more in-depth, giving the subject a chance to explain how he came to work in music for a living. Unsurprisingly, both clips heavily feature Busse's white Scion tC. The major detail they don't go into is where he manages to park it in San Francisco. But check out some views of the city that any local music fan ought to find familiar:

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
