San Francisco's very own Dodos hit network TV on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon yesterday, bringing along occasional member Neko Case for a special version of "Don't Try and Hide It." Notable aspects include: Case's high-pitched accents on the chorus sonically eclipsing everyone else; Meric Long's eerie deer-in-the-headlights stare; and the generally pulse-quickening uplift of this song, a highlight off the Dodos' latest album, No Color. Props to the local boys for making it to big-time TV and bringing their famous friend along. And for, uh, doing a late-night musical performance that's worth watching. Check out the video after the jump.

The Dodos are off touring Europe right now, but you can check out our review of their last headlining show at the Fillmore, and download a new song, "So Clold," for free on their website.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
