Now that the hype from the Royal Wedding has finally died down, it's time for the Kings to arrive. The self-proclaimed kings, that is -- Jay-Z and Kanye West, now collectively known as the Throne, will bring their upcoming joint tour through the Bay Area this fall. Will you be watching?

The 24-date monarchical "Watch the Throne" tour stops at San Jose's HP Pavilion on October 16. Tickets go on sale on August 8, the same day Jay and Yeezy's Watch the Throne album (featuring Beyoncé, and Frank Ocean) lands at iTunes. The physical release -- featuring a cover designed by Givenchy's Ricardo Tisci -- follows on August 12. It's gonna sound something like this: Otis feat. Otis Redding by watchthethrone

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
