"Money Shark," the new video from San Francisco-bred rapper Andre Nickatina, features a few prominent elements: the Las Vegas skyline, a pliable female backside, and a giant crab meant to represent his favorite S.F. seafood spot, Crustacean. The cut, from director Ben Griffin (who's also produced visuals for Too $hort and E-40, among others), provides a polished, widescreen look for the typically press-averse and underground legend.

Nickatina's "Money Shark Tour 2011" stops for concert dates in the Bay Area on Sept. 22 (Catalyst Club in Santa Cruz), Sept. 29 (Fat Cat in Modesto), and Dec. 10 (Regency Ballroom in San Francisco).

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
