Legalize It So Wiz Khalifa'll Come Party With Us In California

Posted By on Thu, Oct 28, 2010 at 8:35 AM

In arguably the least surprising development in the lead-up

to next Tuesday's general election, Wiz Khalifa -- promising Pittsburgh

rapper and successor to the weed-rules-everything-around-me mantle of

Devin the Dude -- has come out in support of Proposition 19.

If we decriminalize marijuana, he'll move out here just as sure as Jules will go to Amsterdam! Now we just need to get him to change "Black and Yellow" to "Black and Orange" in honor of the Gigantes. But... you know, baby steps.

Just one more reason to vote. As Wiz slurs above, "let's make it happen, dog."

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
