We really hope Grizzly Bear got some love from Stanford grad and Bay Area pop whippersnapper K.Flay for the obvious lifting of the Brooklyn band's bits for this rather cleverly named free download, "2 Weak." But then, "Two Weeks" makes such a crisp pop background, maybe the band should be giving K.Flay some love.

You'll recognize the bass hits and vocal harmonies from the Grizzly Bear hit immediately -- that is, if if you aren't too occupied with deciding whether K.Flay's talk-rap-singing is hideous or endearing. It kind of wore us down after a while, but, frankly, we're not sure that's a good thing. If your verdict on this free download is positive, you can catch K.Flay do her overachiever-pop thing at the Summersalt Music Festival this Saturday in Fort Mason. If not, well, go listen to the real "Two Weeks" and cleanse your musical mind already.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
