It should be mandatory that nights like last couple in SF be spent outside. Soon enough we're gonna be blasted with fog and wind. Let's just hope summer lasts through the outdoor movie season, though, because there's some real classics being screened in the grass over the next couple months.

Up next is The Royal Tenenbaums, playing in Dolores Park on Thursday, May 13 at 8 p.m., thanks to the folks at Dolores Park Movie Night.

Then on Saturday, June 19, Dolores Park becomes an outdoor arena of sorts for the singalong version of Grease, hosted by Film Night in the Park. (Prep your songbook for that one here.)

From there, Film Night has Dirty Dancing in Union Square on  Saturday, July 10; Ferris Bueller's Day Off on Saturday, August 7 in Dolores Park; Rear Window in Union Square on Saturday, August 28; Amelie in Washington Square Park on Saturday, September 11; and The Big Lebowski on Saturday, September 25 in Dolores Park.

Dolores Park Movie Night continues its monthly Thursday screening schedule through October, but all the titles beyond May are still TBA.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
