Are you ready for another summer of movie picnics--that beloved fresh air theater where you Bring Your Own Beer, Food, and Wind-Thwarting Layers? Film Night in the Park, one of a couple hosts of outdoor films in Bay Area, just announced its 2010 schedule.

Its San Francisco flicks kick off Saturday, June 19, with a little Patrick Swayze tribute in Dirty Dancing. On July 10, they move to Union Square to screen Rear Window. August 7 it's back to soft padding for your ass in Dolores Park for Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and later that same month, on the 28th, it's back to Union Square for Lady From Shanghai

After moving over to Washington Square Park on September 11 for Amelie, Film Night in the Park offers the best of its 2010 series as the finale: The Big Lebowski will see Dolores Park swimming on robed Dudes drinking White Russians on September 25.

Note: Dolores Park Movie Night starts tomorrow, with Back to the Future playing at sundown. The rest of their schedule is still TBA.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
