More music news today for festicationers: Sasquatch! Music Festival laid out its lineup last night at a party at Seattle's Crocodile Cafe. This Memorial Day Weekend (May 29-31) the indie rock caravans will head to Washington's Gorge for performances from 2010 festival staples Pavement, Vampire Weekend, and Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros. Other biggies on the bill include Massive Attack (who've come back with an excellent new record), Bay Area (and my personal) fave Dam-Funk, and San Francisco's go-to pop act for 2010, Girls. (Oh and who are these Garfunkel & Oates folks on the Sasquatch! bill, you ask? Very funny ladies who like to make videos.)

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
