One measure of musical success is being invited to one of the premiere music fests in the U.S. Among the most established and prestigious, of course, are Bonnaroo, Coachella, and All Tomorrow's Parties, the latter having the added cred of being curated by a different hipster of the arts world every year.

We decided to tally up all the locals being picked up for gigs on the big stages around the country, and into Mexico--with one exception, SXSW has too many acts performing to list 'em all. If you're taking a festication in 2010, here are the familiar faces to look out for.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
