MP3 of the Day: Dirt Nasty

Posted By on Thu, Aug 6, 2009 at 11:21 AM

From the title of "Fuck Ed Hardy" alone, it's clear Dirt Nasty is no fan of Ed Hardy's "trendy wack, bright clothing." The L.A. entertainer (originally from the Bay) goes on a lengthy rant of a rap about Hardy's line of clothing that "look like a dragon threw up on my dick." Between Nasty and his guests, Hardy-following fashionists are a bunch of "douchy bitches, douchy crews" with "no style, no class."

If you have strong opinions about Nasty, Hardy, or basic rap songs calling out the pop culture flock, you can download the song here.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
