Last weekend passed with plenty of Michael Jackson tributes, from DJs to foodies alike. But this is the first report we've gotten of a full (and by full, we mean 15-piece) band performing the King of Pop's classic hits.

On Saturday, July 11, Neverland: A Tribute to the  King of Pop!  will present MJ's songs from the stage at Slim's.

The group formed in March of this year, and includes a horn section and four vocalists, as well as lots of songs that you've spent the past week hearing blasted everywhere from Muni to Trader Joe's.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
