Track of the Day: Dylan, Meet Ronson

Posted By on Fri, Apr 3, 2009 at 6:01 PM

What do Amy Winehouse and Bob Dylan have in common, aside from the fact that both sound pretty sauced, even when they're sober? They've also both been the subjects of Mark Ronson remixes.

The superstar DJ/producer put a little funk in Dylan's trunk on this track, "Most Likely You'll Go Away (I'll Go Mine")  (grabbed from Grand Panda). Here Dylan gets the horn treatment as he slurs and swerves through a promise to lick some booty. Bob's yer crunk uncle.

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
