Our thoughts and prayers go out to Oakland rapper Mistah F.A.B., who was involved in an automobile accident early Friday morning. According to a press release, F.A.B., his manager Stetch, and DJ Tito Bell were driving down to L.A. when their car hit a patch of wet road, hydroplaned, lost control, and flipped over several times.

Miraculously, not only did everyone survive, but there were no life-threatening injuries, although F.A.B. was reportedly having some trouble walking. Their cellphones were damaged in the crash, so F.A.B. wanted his family and friends to know he is okay (you know how that rumor mill is), though he's a bit banged up at present. View a Vlog with DJ Backside live from F.A.B.'s hospital bed here and look for periodic updates from F.A.B. here.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
