If you want to take in some of Greg "Craola" Simkins' amazing array of works, you have a few options. You can drive under a random Los Angeles freeway overpass, play a Tony Hawk video game, or just go out to 252 Fillmorewhen Craola premieres Seeing Things at Fifty24SF Gallery. In his latest solo exhibition, he displays his effortless transitions from street to fine to commercial art, all while keeping his dinstinct surrealist style intact. Seeing Things opens alongside Anthony Lister's Magic Trick with a reception on Thursday, Feb. 5, from 7 to 9 p.m., and will remain for viewing until Feb. 26. Visit Fifty24SF.com for more details.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
