Club 6 has long been the primary nightlife option on its seedy little stretch of downtown Sixth Street (cokey hipsters might argue for the Arrow/Matador, of course, while electronic heads may prefer Anú... but I digress...), so Beastie Boys DJ and erstwhile Invisible Skratch Pickl Mix Master Mike will man the decks for the venue's upcoming 10-year anniversary party on Friday, Dec. 5. Advance $10 tickets go on sale later this week: click here for more info. — J. Graham

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
