They finally got around to releasing a full length record, and now Lemonade is picking up stakes and moving to Brooklyn. It's a big loss for S.F., as the trio was always awesome live, stirring up cross-cultural dance floor madness with acid flashbacks. They're not leaving town, though without a big, free goodbye party in the basement of 1015 Folsom. Check out Lemonade on Friday, Oct. 17, at 103 Harriet, where the band will be DJing with Lazer Sword, Ghosts On Tape, C.L.A.W.S., Saputotime, and Safety Scissors. And help spread the word to your New York pals to keep an ear on these guys. -- Jennifer Maerz

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
