The much-loved Rock ’n’ Roll Adventure Kids are apparently working a double shift this weekend. First they join Les Hormones and the Traditional Fools' Ty Segall for an early 8 p.m. show at the Knockout. Then the Kids pack up and haul their equipment two whole blocks down Mission Street for a gig at El Rio with spooky surf-rockers The Undertaker & His Pals and Europe's Cecilia & Die Sauerkrauts (featuring the ex-vocalist of Frenchie snot-popsters The No-Talents). Your Saturday garage-rock block party has now been planned. Throw a hibachi on a skateboard and make it a complete roving bash. — J. Graham

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
