Adam Duritz and the gang may have fallen into relative obscurity everywhere else in the world, but the Bay Area still has a soft spot for the Berkeley locals. Go see the Counting Crows play alongside Maroon 5 at Shoreline Amphitheatre Sept. 17, or at Sleep Train Pavilion Sept. 18. Tickets go on sale Sun. June 22 at 10 a.m. All lawn seats are only $20, but only until July 6, so cop those seats quick-like. --Oscar Pascual

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
