After years of partnering up for the immensely popular Guitar Hero franchise, Gibson guitars filed a legal suit against Activision games regarding patent infringements. Instead of retorting with, "I thought we were friends, bro!," Activision had this to say:

As Activision noted in its filing, Gibson waited three years to make its patent allegations, and only did so after it became clear that Activision was not interested in renewing its marketing and support agreement with Gibson. Activision continues to believe that Gibson’s claims are disingenuous and lack any justification.

Guitars and video games. It's a sad, sad world when awesome stuff like those two can't get along. -- ASD Staff Report

Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
