The ninth installment in the Coachella Valley and Arts Music Festival saga was announced via a press release held in Mexico City this afternoon. Some of the most surprising announcements on the bill are Roger Waters of Pink Floyd doing a re-creation of Dark Side of the Moon, an album that has sold more than 40 million records worldwide. Are the kids going to be into this?

Other main attractions reuniting at Coachella are The Breeders, Portishead, and Love and Rockets. Also, Jack Johnson??!! Is this Bonnaroo? Something is definitely amiss here. Either way, what is most exciting from what we can see is the up-and-coming acts that are being featured on the bill, along with those who have had consistent success but don't sell millions of records. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9 a.m. Click more for the full lineup.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
