Allen's 9-12 Warfield date just got zapped due to Visa work stuff. I'm so read to do a cover story about the hassles of getting into America these days as an artist. If you know anyone with horror stories, holla. -d2

Full P.R.

U.K. artist Lily Allen is regrettably postponing her upcoming series of West Coast dates. U.S. authorities revoked ...

her work visa earlier this month when she was entering the country. The reinstatement process has proven lengthier than anticipated, thus preventing her tour from launching on September 6th in San Diego, CA.

"I am so disappointed that I won’t be able to come to the States at this time," says Lily. "I was really looking forward to playing these shows and being part of the Video Music Awards. I want my fans to know that I’ll be back as soon as I possibly can!"

Lily’s acclaimed debut album, Alright, Still, bowed at #20 on The Billboard 200 earlier this year.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
