Sonic Youth On Sale at Starbucks: Indie Kids Eating Their Own Feces

Pitchfork got a scoop from Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore on a new project for our favorite global coffee chain.

God, that must be so hard for some people. If you are one of them, please tell us how it feels. Does it hurt? Are you mad? Good, because your "indie-good, corporation-bad" dogma just revealed its inanity.

Man, I suddenly have a powerful urge for a $4 cup of globalization and some sanctified indie rock. Gotta go.

    Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday.
