"A Field Guide to the Atmosphere" appears to be inspired by a book. Photographer and videomaker Lindsey White likes books; one of her previous pieces is a chair, in front of a table, and a book on the table titled "Whole World." It's a big book, but still ... Her aesthetic is both sturdy and dreamy, enamored of yellowing paper as well as golden cloud sprays and steeped in a gentle funniness. At "Atmosphere," she explores "the magic in the everyday."
