Music Domination Collective

Wednesday, Aug 19 2009
Millions of Dead Cops. Multi Death Corporation. Millions of Dead Children. These can be words to live by for hardcore political-punk fans, since M.D.C.'s famous new name for each album continues to now. The recent record is called Magnus Dominus Corpus, which is a reference to Fallujah; figure out on your own why they decided not to call it Millions of Dead Contractors. The point is that this tour, featuring all the original band members except one, finds M.D.C. just as righteously pissed as ever, and still, twenty-five years in, making truly great music.

Poison Control and the Bum City Saints open.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
